I was rather sad when we went here and the owner was not willing to have my service dog there. We drove like 20 miles from our original place we go. NOT A DOG FRIENDLY PLACE TO STAY OR BE. I will be going back to Sprague Lake Resort. Where they are friendly, and LOVE dogs.
We have a 40-foot 5th wheel, which they were able to accommodate us with a large space and 50-amp power. The owners were gracious, so a very good experience overall.
We're headed back there for a family get-together this weekend.
The trains are close, but that's good or bad depending on whether you like trains. The lake is beautiful around sunset, silvered water with the occasional pelican flapping by.
Grass, nice open space, not too busy mid-season.
Nice campground with excellent fishing opprotunities! Only bad thing is the trains...they come by every 45 minutes and lay on the horn...day and night! Bring ear plugs!!!
